The Lite shares the same receiver sensitivity and codec chain as the Pro; the difference is the narrower 4.9–5.9 GHz tuning range, 48 rather than 128 channels, and the resulting 18 km rather than 40 km+ rated range.

Choosing between Lite and Pro

If your operating area is congested, the Pro’s extra tuning range and channel count give you somewhere to escape to when the 5 GHz band fills up. If you fly in a quieter environment and 18 km already exceeds your mission radius, the Lite delivers the same latency and sensitivity figures for less money.
