The Aomway FPV-001_M is a compact analog FPV camera built around a 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor with 1800 TVL horizontal resolution and an F1.0 lens. It resolves detail down to 0.000001 lux, so the picture holds up after sunset or inside a shaded structure instead of collapsing into noise. Super WDR (HDR) keeps both the sky and the ground readable when you fly into backlight, and the whole chain runs at 10 ms latency.

Key Features

  • 1800 TVL on a 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor — 4.0 µm pixels, noticeably more detail than a 1200TVL sensor in the same light
  • F1.0 ultra-low-light optics — usable down to 0.000001 lux for night flying and indoor work
  • 10 ms latency — low enough for racing gates and fast proximity work
  • Super WDR (HDR) — keeps shadows and highlights on screen at the same time when flying toward the sun
  • 5–40 V input — runs straight off a 6S pack or a 12 V regulator, no separate BEC required
  • 125° field of view — wide enough for freestyle framing without fisheye distortion at the edges
  • On-screen OSD menu — the included menu board plugs in, you set the camera, then unplug it and fly
  • PAL / NTSC and 4:3 / 16:9 selectable — matches whatever goggles or VTX you already own

Wiring & Pinout

The camera uses a single 5-pin connector. Pin 1 carries the supply, pin 3 is the composite video output that feeds your VTX, and pin 5 is the OSD line for the setup board.

Pin Signal Description
1 POWER DC 5–40 V input
2 GND Ground
3 CVBS Composite video signal to the VTX
4 GND Ground
5 OSD OSD menu board signal

Setting the camera: connect the supplied menu board, press the middle button briefly to enter the OSD settings, adjust exposure, WDR, scene mode and language, then remove the menu board before flying. Settings stay in the camera.
